The long-lost silent film The Fisherman’s Call has been found.

Horror film director Kaarla Usva has been tasked with writing a new screenplay based on the rediscovered reels. She has immersed herself in the project for weeks, working in an old fisherman’s cabin on Lake Näsijärvi — the very same cabin where the original film was shot!

The film studio, however, has grown concerned. Kaarla’s messages have become increasingly incoherent, and in the past few days, there has been no word from her at all. The studio is now sending you to find out how the screenplay is progressing — and to retrieve the precious film reels.

A local fisherman rows you to the rocky shore. As you step out of the swaying boat, his gaze first turns to the sky, then to you. He warns:

“A storm will arrive in an hour, and no one knows how long it will last. Finish your mission by then — because I’ll be leaving, with or without you.”
